This is a very nice version of lifting cards. The magician shows a deck of cards with two holes and a Chinese rod used for eating. A card is chosen freely, returned to the deck and thoroughly shuffled. The magician sticks the wand through the hole in the deck and holds the suspended cards out of hand. The spectator is given a scarf with which he will have to cover the cards. The spectator names the card, removes the handkerchief and as if by magic his card appears to have come out of the deck.
