The magician shows an empty metal tube and a pencil to the spectators. He inserts the pencil into the tube and closes the tube with a cap. The closed tube is passed to the spectators. A spectator is prompted to open it. Upon opening the tube the viewer finds, to his surprise, that the pencil has transformed into a smaller, more colored pencil.
